September 12, 2010: Ming Yang US discontinues the CZH baitcasting series
Effective August 1, 2010, the CZH series, comprising of the CZH-40 through the CZH-60s, have been discontinued and replaced by the new CL-A series. The new CLA series offers a more advanced drag system, better corrosion tolerance with all-stainless ball bearings, an improved clicker and standard dual handles, including the popular power handle. These end of life reels continue to carry a two-year warranty and parts will be available through 2014

March 11, 2011: Ming Yang US discontinues the CL40, CL50, CL60 and the CL80 models
Effective March 11, 2011, the CL40, CL50, CL60, and CL80 modles are discontinued and replaced by the new CL-A series. These end of life reels continue to carry a two-year warranty and parts will be available through 2015
